Greg Welden was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 1998 and brings close to three decades of experience in estate law to the firm. The early years of his career were spent in Port Augusta, where he developed a grounding in all facets of the law. He returned to Adelaide in 2007 and, working across both small and large firms, developed a focus on estate law that would define the rest of his career.
In 2014, Greg co-founded Welden & Coluccio Lawyers with Jason Coluccio, with a clear purpose: to deliver specialist estate legal services to the South Australian community. Today, Greg works with clients across all areas of estate planning and estate administration, including complex asset protection strategies, business succession planning, probate, estate administration, inheritance claims, and probate disputes.
Greg has delivered seminars to members of the public, community groups, and professional bodies including other solicitors, and has written articles in solicitor-specific estate planning publications.
Outside the office, Greg is a family man with a passion for music. He plays acoustic guitar and has performed under various guises, including a successful Adelaide Fringe show. He is a keen traveller and has lived and worked in Liverpool, England. He enjoys good food, a glass of shiraz, and a quality whisky.
